Family Fitness Activities Guide

Discover fun activities your whole family will enjoy on our 14-acre property overlooking the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument and beyond.

• Outdoor Pool & Jacuzzi – Spend the day soaking up Southern Oregon sunshine with the family. Kids will love our outdoor seasonal pool. Pool service available with delicious offerings from our Luna Cafe. Enjoy dishes made with fresh and local ingredients, and be sure to order our house made ice cream. There’s something available for the grown ups too. Enjoy cocktails, beer, and wine by the pool.

• Tennis Courts – Play a game of tennis on one of our two tennis courts overlooking the spectacular hills of Ashland. Just stop by the front desk and ask for complimentary racket use (based on availability).

• Fitness Rooms – Our hotel offers two fitness rooms, so you don’t have to skip your workout routine while on vacation!

• Bike Rentals – Rent our hotel cruisers and head on Bear Creek Greenway. A 17.9-mile biking and hiking path extending from Ashland to Central Point. Passing through the towns of Talen, Phoenix, and Medford. The path parallels Bear Creek, a tributary of the Rogue River.

• The Grizzly Peak Loop Trail (six miles from our hotel)  – Offers easy accessibility and family-friendly hike. Enjoy meadows with wildflowers and breathtaking views of the valley at the top. Browse our list of additional 8 Kid-Friendly hikes here.

• Emigrant Lake Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Swimming, and Water Slides – Located just 2 miles from our hotel, Emigrant Lake is the perfect family spot for water recreation. Paddle board around the lake, enjoy a light swim, or go down two 280-foot waters slides (slides go into a pool).

• Pacific Crest Trail (10 mile drive from our hotel to the trailhead) – Experience the beauty of Southern Oregon on this epic, nationally-renowned hike.

• Mountain Biking – Rent bikes from Ashland Mountain Adventure (two miles from our hotel) and enjoy their shuttle service to the top of Mount Ashland. Hit local trails and ride back into Ashland.

• Crater Lake National Park – While in Southern Oregon, be sure to explore one of the 7 Wonders of our State. Enjoy 79 scenic miles from our hotel along The Rogue Umpqua Scenic Byway – known as the “highway of waterfalls” to Crater Lake. Learn more here.
